Despite being a bit further from the city centre, there were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and the walk to the centre was pleasant and easy.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the perfect location near the ruins and train stations. The host, Salvatore, was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us plan our days and even gave us a ride to the station after checkout. The €5 breakfasts and €15 two-course dinner offered by the host family were great deals. The rooms were cleaned every day, which is rare, and the English skills of the host were a massive bonus.

The room we booked was nothing like the photos on the website. The apartment was separate from the main building and the "patio" was just tarmac next to a car park.
